ANGEL RAMOS-RIVERA

In the rehearsal space, someone is contorted into a complex stretch. They peer up at newcomers through a healing black eye, bored. Angel is an army brat, a realist, and isn't afraid to take a hit or two. They're pretty much attached to Gloria's hip (or, more accurately, the scruff of her neck) as they hold her back from wandering into her next dangerous stunt.
BLUNDER

A deep peal of laugher can be heard from across the fairground as a dark-skinned man re-sets the fencepost he just knocked over. He chats with customers as he does, with a charming smile and a well-placed wink. Somewhere in the scramble he manages to make a sale. Born on the fairground, Blunder is charming, clumsy, and usually gets what he wants, one way or another.
CHARLOTTE TRAVERS

The Ringleader takes the stage. A tall woman with white-blonde hair, smiling warmly. Her ghostly complexion is a stark contrast to her deep navy suit, which could be a museum piece. Charlotte runs the circus with a fair and firm hand, generally well-liked. She tends to stay out of everybody's way, but everyone knows her door is always open for a chat and a tea.
CRASH

A bored young man is lounging with his feet propped up on the ticket counter. He's dressed casually in clothes way too expensive to be around this much dirt. He scrolls his phone, not paying you any mind. Crash is used to the finer things in life, and can be a bit of a brat. Some may recognize him from his child stardom days, or the crash-and-burnout youth that followed.
DERBY

The woman tending to the horses looks too young to be here. Her neat ponytail and smart collared shirt and sweater are covered in hay and dirt. She speaks to the animals like they're close friends, giggling away at them. Easily startled, largely oblivious to nuance and sarcasm, Derby has come a long way to find her place in the world. She's working on it!
GLORIA

In a blur of blonde hair and pink material, a tall woman is tumbling across the room, no rhyme or reason to it. Nobody really knows where Gloria Snow came from. One day the story is that she was raised by wolves. On another, she grew up in a bunker with her mad scientist parents. She's a thrill seeker, an adrenaline junkie, and she's down for anything, with anyone, at any time.
POPS

It feels like you've seen this woman everywhere since showing up at the carnival. She's a solid, strong butch, decorated with a large tool belt and her phone almost always in hand. Poppy is the groundskeeper, the engineer, and security. She's a little overworked, but approachable, and seems to anticipate disaster and stay two steps ahead of it.
THÉO TRAVERS

A flamboyant gentleman is slouching artfully against the trailer, a cardigan that seems several sizes too large draped around them. Theo may rightfully own half of the circus, but he's never had the drive, responsibility, or business sense to run it like his twin sister does. They're happy to costume, mend, and wash the days away... balanced out by partying through the night, of course.
TURNIP FOLEY

In the middle of FunTown, an enthusiastic redhead stands in the dirt patch, waving long limbs and a beaming smile to entice people over to the games booth. They're colourful and loud, and extremely encouraging. A long-time resident crew member, Turnip's philosophy is that every day has the potential to be the best day of your life... so let's get to it!
